Amber’s White Light

In the aftermath of the tragic suicide of their beloved daughter Amber, Richard and Tamara Wraith set up Amber’s White Light, an organisation dedicated to improve mental health assessment, diagnosis and treatment for young people. Amber’s White Light (AWL) supports research and implementation of research into complex mental illness and suicide prevention, for teenagers and young adults, especially young women. Lifebuoy worked with the Black Dog research team and the Wraith family in the development of a short, but powerful video to alert the public, and the health system, that more needed be done in the care of vulnerable young people in emergency departments across the country.
