To help explain how the Child Information Sharing Scheme (CISS) enables authorised organisations to share information in support of child wellbeing and safety, the Municipal Association of Victoria engaged Lifebuoy Video to script and design a short animation based on the experiences of a four-year-old refugee boy. Olly and his family arrived in Australia on refugee visas, and adjusting to life in a new country has been both challenging and confronting. With the support of CISS, Olly and his family are able to access tailored services and professional support designed specifically for children, young people, and families. Through animation, the audience not only follows Olly’s journey of adaptation but also gains insight into how his emotions are shaped by the complex experience of settling into a new country.
