When you are feeling sad or worried

A few years ago, Lifebuoy Video were asked to produce a series of educational videos for Afghan refugee’s living in Melbourne. The video’s main function was to inform these people about how to navigate, and access, our health system. To bring authenticity, Lifebuoy Video cast members of Melbourne’s Afghan community to act in the videos and got to know them personally over the weeks of rehearsals, shooting and editing. Their commitment, honesty and enthusiasm in the process made these video’s a great success and they have become hugely popular to not only Afghan people living here, but to their extended families around the world. All 6 videos have been translated into Pashto, Hazaragi and Dari spoken language.
