Kobi Sainty

When Tweddle asked Bunurong man Kobi Sainty to paint some murals on the walls of their new Wyndham Early Parenting Centre, the young artist saw it as an opportunity to both promote Bunurong culture and encourage a culturally safe place for indigenous families needing the support of Tweddle’s unique and diversified early parenting services. Kobi’s poignant and playful art adorns the play spaces, bedrooms and hallways of the new centre and, in this short, intimate documentary, we were able to capture the inspiration behind his art and his hope that it provides an understanding and connection for all families in the future.
