Balit Booboop Narrkwarren, which means ‘Strong Baby and Family’ in Woiwurrung language, is a culturally adapted model of the Baby Makes 3 program. It is an approach to support Aboriginal families, including children, young people and Elders to have respectful, culturally rich, strong and healthy relationships. Lifebuoy worked with the BBN team in the production of 6 short video’s that capture yarns with Indigenous families who discussed subjects which include the role of the Aboriginal father in modern families and society, healthy relationships, connection through culture and how the mother and father roles changed when Bubba arrives. In this video, participants and facilitators in the BBN program talk about how to work together when Bubba arrives.
