Refractive error, or Myopia, causes long or short sightedness and difficulties changing focus. Myopia in kids tends to progress or get worse throughout childhood, and higher levels of myopia are associated with higher eye disease risks in adulthood.
To highlight this growing problem in China and in many developed countries, Lifebuoy Video were asked by the Australia China Health Accelerator to produce a chapter of a Chinese produced television documentary that demonstrated the work of Dr Professor Mingguang He, who leads The Centre for Eye Research Australia’s ophthalmic epidemiology research.
