Lifebuoy have started development of an animated film that tells the story of The Child Information Sharing Scheme or CISS. The scheme allows authorised organisations to share information to support child wellbeing or safety which ensures that professionals working with children, young people and families can gain a complete view of who they work with. The animation will tell the story of “Olly” a 3 year old boy who has recently migrated from Africa with his mother and baby brother. Through a simple but powerful narrative style, Olly, candidly shares the challenges and the support he has his family received through Child Information Sharing, and the positive outcomes that emerged. Once again, we’ll be working with the brilliant animator Jesse Sanders who will develop a unique style of 2D animation to tell the story of Olly’s assimilation and acceptance into his new country.
