Plaque radiotherapy Eye and Ear

Plaque radiotherapy

Plaque radiotherapy, also known as brachytherapy or surgical radiotherapy, is commonly used to treat various eye conditions, particularly eye cancers. Because the procedure can be complex and difficult to explain in words, the Eye and Ear Hospital, in collaboration with the Western & Central Melbourne Integrated Cancer Service, commissioned Lifebuoy Video to produce an animated film and a series of clinician and patient testimonials. The short animation clearly outlines what to expect before, during, and after plaque radiotherapy.
